Ji Guangyang

Career and experience

Ji joined Akaliko in June 2024, bringing experience across mining equipment, international market development, spare-parts supply chains and aftermarket services. His work connects Chinese manufacturing capabilities with the needs of Akaliko’s customers, branches and international partners.

Before joining Akaliko, Ji spent nearly fourteen years with XCMG. From December 2020 to August 2022, he served as Director of Spareparts Operation at XCMG Mining Machinery, developing its global warehousing network, procurement planning and distribution channels. He subsequently led the Service Management Department, overseeing aftermarket service systems, service-partner development and overseas mining projects until May 2024.

Earlier roles at XCMG included overseas sales, customer service and international business development. His experience spans Mongolia, Central Asia, South Asia, West Africa and Southeast Asia, combining commercial negotiation with practical experience in field service, parts availability and equipment support.

Ji holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from China University of Mining and Technology. His industry recognition includes the XCMG Group Model Worker award.
