Akaliko Signs Strategic MoU with CRRC for Electrical Drive Systems

We are proud to announce a significant milestone in our global growth strategy. Akaliko has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CRRC, one of the world’s largest industrial technology groups, to cooperate in the development, sales, remanufacturing, and aftermarket maintenance of electrical drives, generators, and final drives for heavy equipment. The agreement was formalized in Beijing, signed by Paul Boon, CEO of Akaliko, and Mr. Yu Xiaowei, President of CRRC Ruitai.
A New Era for Drivetrain Solutions
While Akaliko is globally recognized for hydraulic cylinder excellence, this collaboration extends our expertise into fully integrated drivetrain and electrical solutions.
By combining CRRC’s world-class manufacturing capabilities with Akaliko’s field network and rebuild know-how, we are positioning ourselves to support multi-OEM fleets with a simple but powerful goal:
OEM-grade components and precision remanufacturing.
Reducing lead times for critical drivetrain parts.
A total cost of ownership reduction for operators of large mining machines.

Final Drive & Wheel Motor Rebuild Center Planned for Mongolia
We are launching a specialized rebuild center, starting in Mongolia. This facility will serve as the pilot for a model we intend to expand to additional countries in the near future.
Southern Africa Region Collaboration
We are deepening our joint capabilities to support customers across the Southern Africa region, ensuring that critical components are available where the mining activity is most intense.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our hosts and counterparts at CRRC for a successful summit:
