Akaliko and Motion Indonesia Partner to Strengthen Aftermarket Support Across Indonesia

Akaliko Global and Motion Indonesia have formed a strategic partnership to expand access to aftermarket components and local technical support across Indonesia.
Combining global aftermarket capability with local market expertise
Akaliko Global has entered into a strategic distribution and authorized service partnership with Motion Indonesia, strengthening the companies’ ability to support mining, infrastructure and heavy-industry customers across Indonesia.
The partnership brings together Akaliko Global’s international aftermarket supply network, product expertise and technical capabilities with Motion Indonesia’s established local distribution, field-support and workshop presence.
Through this collaboration, customers in Indonesia will gain a more connected route to aftermarket heavy-equipment components, technical knowledge and locally coordinated support.
Supporting equipment availability across Indonesia
Indonesia is one of the world’s most significant markets for mining and heavy equipment. Operating conditions across the country place considerable demands on machinery, components and maintenance teams, making dependable access to parts and technical support essential.
For equipment operators, component availability is only one part of the challenge. Effective aftermarket support also requires local market knowledge, responsive communication and the ability to coordinate product supply with technical service.
The partnership between Akaliko Global and Motion Indonesia has been established to address these requirements through a combination of international supply capability and on-the-ground support.
Akaliko Global will contribute its experience in manufacturing, sourcing and supplying aftermarket products for heavy machinery and industrial applications. Motion Indonesia will support local distribution, customer engagement, field service and workshop activities.
Together, the companies will work to provide Indonesian customers with a more coordinated aftermarket experience, from initial product identification and technical consultation through to supply and service support.
Expanding access to aftermarket solutions
Under the partnership, Motion Indonesia will represent a broad range of Akaliko aftermarket products within the Indonesian market.
The initial focus will include selected components and solutions for mobile mining equipment, drivetrain systems, final drives, undercarriage systems, structural applications and other heavy-industry requirements.
The partnership also creates a platform for the companies to introduce additional products and develop market-specific solutions as customer requirements evolve.
By combining Akaliko’s global sourcing and product-development network with Motion Indonesia’s knowledge of local customers and operating environments, both companies aim to improve access to practical, application-focused aftermarket solutions.
Building local technical capability
Technical knowledge and service quality will be central to the collaboration.
Akaliko Global and Motion Indonesia will work together on product familiarisation, technical training, service procedures and customer support. The companies will also collaborate on technical presentations, customer visits and selected market-development activities.
This approach is intended to ensure that product supply is supported by the technical understanding required for correct application, installation and ongoing equipment performance.
The partnership will also enable closer communication between customers in Indonesia, Motion’s local teams and Akaliko’s wider international technical and supply network.
A platform for long-term collaboration
The agreement represents an important step in Akaliko Global’s continued development in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia.
For Motion Indonesia, the partnership expands the range of aftermarket products and technical resources available to its customers. For Akaliko Global, it provides a stronger local platform through which to understand customer requirements, coordinate support and develop new opportunities within the Indonesian market.
Both companies will now focus on aligning their commercial and technical teams, introducing the partnership to customers and identifying priority applications where their combined capabilities can deliver immediate value.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to helping equipment operators improve component access, strengthen maintenance support and maintain the availability of critical machinery.
