Greg leads strategic partnerships and senior customer engagement in Australia, helping connect customer priorities with Akaliko’s manufacturing, remanufacturing and lifecycle capabilities.

Greg brings extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, major capital projects and supplier relationships across the mining and resources sector. His work at Akaliko focuses on developing strategic partnerships in Australia and connecting commercial opportunities with practical delivery capability.
His career includes more than 25 years with Rio Tinto and its predecessor businesses, with assignments across Australia, North America, Europe, Mongolia and China. He has held senior roles in project procurement, global sourcing and category management, including Procurement Director positions for strategic sourcing and capital projects at Alcan.
Greg also served as General Manager Contracts & Procurement for QGC’s QCLNG project. Earlier roles with Glencore, Western Mining Corporation and Newcrest covered procurement, materials management, logistics and warehousing.
Alongside his commercial and procurement expertise, Greg has a strong interest in coaching and mentoring teams, improving collaboration and building capability that delivers lasting value.
