1.Operating model
- 1.1The group works as a matrix. Capability leaders own how the work is done across the group. Regional companies own the customer relationship and the delivery in their region.
- 1.2Headquarters provides direction and shared services to both.
2.Headquarters
- 2.1Headquarters is responsible for group direction, finance, shared standards and support for every company.
- 2.2Headquarters does not run regional operations.
3.Capabilities
- 3.1The group has six capabilities: commercial and market partnerships; regional remanufacturing and service centres; workforce and technical services; global supply and manufacturing; asset deployment and inventory solutions; and engineering.
- 3.2Each capability has a named leader, responsible for its standards, development and performance across the group.
- 3.3Capabilities do not own regional customer relationships.

4.Group companies and branches
- 4.1Group companies and branches are responsible for the customers, people and sites in their region.
- 4.2They apply group standards locally and do not set group-wide standards alone.
5.Working together
- 5.1Each customer has one main contact, even when several parts of the group are involved.
- 5.2Handovers between companies or capabilities are agreed in advance, with an owner on each side.
- 5.3A disagreement between a capability and a region goes first to the two leaders concerned, then to the Executive Committee.
6.Independent partners
- 6.1Independent partners run their own businesses and work with us under agreements made for each relationship.
- 6.2Partnerships begin with a discussion and are shaped around each opportunity. There is no membership, tier or fixed package.
- 6.3A partner is never presented as part of the group.
