Warranty Policy For New Hydraulic Cylinders

Akaliko warrants that new hydraulic cylinders manufactured and supplied by Akaliko will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
This policy applies only to new hydraulic cylinders supplied by Akaliko. Rebuilds, reseals, component-only sales, and other products or services are covered under separate terms, available on request. For consignment stock arrangements, please contact Akaliko directly for applicable warranty terms.
Where you have entered into a separate written warranty agreement with Akaliko, the terms of that agreement will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency with this policy.
Coverage and Duration
New hydraulic cylinders are warranted as follows:
Standard cylinders: 5,000 operating hours or 12 months from dispatch, whichever occurs first.
Clam cylinders: 3,000 operating hours or 3 months from dispatch, whichever occurs first.
The warranty start date is determined by the delivery terms specified in your purchase order.
Eligibility
To be eligible for warranty coverage:
Claims must be submitted to Akaliko within 30 calendar days of the observable failure, or within 30 calendar days of receipt for any visible transit or packaging damage.
The cylinder must have been installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with Akaliko's published guidelines, and used within its rated pressure, temperature, and application limits.
The cylinder must not have been dismantled, modified, welded, or repaired by any third party without Akaliko's prior written authorization.
The cylinder must have been stored in accordance with Akaliko's storage guidelines prior to installation.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
Normal wear and tear, including minor surface marks and chrome scoring within design tolerances.
Accidents, impacts, overload, misuse, or operation outside Akaliko's published limits.
Improper installation, misalignment, or incorrect mounting, piping, or connections.
Contamination, incorrect or inadequate hydraulic fluid, or improper filtration.
Use of non-approved consumables, or incompatible hydraulic fluids.
Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair by third parties.
Continued operation after a failure or leakage has been observed.
Corrosion, chemical damage, salt exposure, or improper storage.
Failures originating in other components of the hydraulic system.
Remedies
Where a claim is accepted, Akaliko will, at its discretion, repair the cylinder, provide a new or refurbished replacement, or issue a credit based on the agreed replacement value. Akaliko's obligation under this warranty is expressly limited to these remedies. Akaliko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of use, downtime, removal or reinstallation costs, or rental costs.

To submit a warranty claim or request a Warranty Claim Form, please contact your Akaliko branch or email us at warranty_sc@akaliko.global. Claims should include product identification, delivery documentation, installation and operating data, and photographic evidence of the failure.
