Mark is a highly accomplished professional in the mining maintenance industry, with a career that began at Hastings Deering, one of the largest authorized Caterpillar distributors. He completed a dual trade apprenticeship there, laying the foundation for his success in the field. With over 27 years of industry experience, Mark has honed his skills in Australia and internationally.


Mark is deeply committed to improving safety practices and procedures in greenfield operations. To further this goal, he pursued a "Certificate IV" in Occupational Health and Safety, as well as a "Certificate IV" in Training and Assessment. These qualifications have equipped him with the necessary knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of safety in his work.


Throughout his career, Mark has collaborated with Caterpillar and Komatsu dealers, both in Australia and internationally, further enhancing his skills and expanding his industry network. His wealth of experience and expertise in maintenance have made him a valuable addition to the team, joining in July 2019 to strengthen the company's maintenance capabilities.


In addition to his professional achievements, Mark is dedicated to his academic growth. He is currently enrolled in an MBA program, demonstrating his commitment to personal and professional development. This pursuit of higher education showcases his drive for continuous learning and improvement.


Outside of his demanding professional and academic commitments, Mark finds solace and enjoyment in adventurous pastimes. He indulges in the exhilarating activities of spearfishing and freediving during his leisure time, combining his love for the ocean with his passion for exploration.
